Game Night

Bears win again! This week we won 32-6 over Kenwood. Go Bears!

We had a great time with Brandy, Tyler & Emma! It kept looking like rain. Thank goodness we only had a few sprinkles during the game. Once we were on the field after the game, it started to pour!

Flashback Friday

Friday is almost over! I was worried I might not get this week's flashback posted! This week's flashback is football fun with Tyler & Emma! Tyler & Emma come to a game every season and spend the night with us. They came to tonight's game and instead of spending the night with us, Xander & I rode back with them and we're spending the night with them! Super fun!

It's Been a While!

Hello! Whew, has it been busy! I usually blog at night after Xander goes to bed. But, the last few nights all I've wanted to to do is go to bed! So, I'm going to just post a few pics from the last few days.

 Cleaning in his boots! He LOVES to clean!

 He loves his boots! He threw a fit when it came to put his pj's on. I had to put his pj bottoms on over his boots. His boots are way to big for him and he'd kick them off

when he walked. He wore them 'til he went to bed!

 He was trying to sing Rock-a-bye Baby. Hilarious!

 This little gadget came in the mail a few days ago. By the time it arrived, Xander's runny nose was doing much better. We'll have it for next time!

Also, please pray for the family of Kenny McKinley.  Kenny passed away on Monday. He attended South Cobb High School and Al was on the SCHS coaching staff during Kenny's high school playing days. We watched Kenny go from being "Skinny Kenny" to being a record breaking player at South Carolina. Kenny was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2009.  We will always remember his infectious smile!

Another Win!

Bears win! Bears win! Yep, another victory for MJ! Tonight, we won 23-6 over Hendersonville. It was a big win for us! We're now 3-1!

Of course, Xander had a great time at the game! I wasn't sure he was going to get to go. He wasn't feeling well last night and had a temp of 102.2. This morning he woke up and acted as if nothing was ever wrong!

Flashback Friday

It's Friday! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the weekend!

It's flashback time! This time last year Xander was limited to eating cereal. Now, Xander is quite the eater! His favorite? Salsa! He loves it!

This time last year it was all about cereal. 

Now, it's all about eating just about anything!

Weekend Wrap-Up

I'm running behind! It's Wednesday and I'm just now posting pics from the weekend! We've been super busy!

A quick rundown on Friday night's game...we won 45-6! I think the score tells the story! It was so humid. My hair was dripping! Seriously. Needless to say, Al was in a great mood all weekend!

This was Xander's first time ringing a cowbell! He thought it was pretty cool!

Of course, he was excited to get on the field!

Xander and his buddy Kai playing after the game. Kai is a huge dinosaur fan! Xander plays with Kai's dinosaurs at the games and now he's starting to become a dino fan!

On Saturday afternoon, we headed to Crossville to visit Al's mom.  We were supposed to go to Depot Days but we got there too late and the weather was a little yucky. Xander loved spending time with Bo Bo (that's what he calls Al's mom).

Xander spotted Al's cowboy boots (from when he was a kid) while we were there. He was so excited to wear them!

After a little bit, he got the hang of them!

He was so in to the game! He was smiling big because Tennesee was up 6-0! When he woke up Sunday morning he wasn't too happy with the final score.

We returned home on Sunday morning. After church, Al headed to football and Xander & I hung out at home. I heard a thumping coming out of the kitchen and saw this:

He did pretty good!

Then, he grabbed the sunglasses!

I think he played with my shoes and sunglasses for an hour!

After I put my shoes away we headed out to water the flowers.

We had a great weekend and can't wait 'til this weekend!

Flashback Friday

Thank goodness it's Friday! I'm so ready for the weekend!

It wouldn't be Friday without a flashback! This week it's Xander and his hat! Up until about nine months he did so good wearing hats. Now, he won't keep them on! I love him in hats!

I Love My Blankie!

Xander has a favorite blankie. Aunt Jackie made it and she may have to make him another one! At first he just seemed to like it. Now he loves it! If it falls off the bed he freaks out. If he sees it he squeals with excitement. If you try to take it away from him he starts to cry. I think it's so sweet!

We Love the Lake!

Finally, the lake pictures! I had intended to post them last night but decided to go to bed instead of blogging!

We love to pack a picnic basket and head to the lake. Xander loves to throw rocks and watch the boats come in. We try to to go to the lake as much as we can. It's always so peaceful and calming. We love the lake!

Lovin' the Three Day Weekend!

Can we have three day weekends more often? We had sooooo much fun this weekend!

First, we headed to Gallatin on Friday night. We played the Green Wave and we lost. Yep, we lost 33-28. Gallatin scored with 7 seconds left in the game. Needless to say, Al was not in the best of moods this weekend.  

I hate missing kickoff, but I had no idea the stadium wasn't at the school and drove around for what seemed like forever trying to find the stadium. I think we finally arrived with about five minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. I didn't get a ton of pictures at the game but I did get this little video of Xander.

In case you didn't understand him, he said no, the Bears wouldn't win and no, Daddy wouldn't be in a good mood if they lost. Ha! Love it!

On Saturday, I cleaned Xander's room. I packed up a ton of his clothes! Xander was with GiGi & Papa (aka Mom & Johnny) so I was able to get lots done!

Xander & I headed home this morning. Since Al had football practice, we made a quick pit stop at The Avenue in Murfreesboro. We wandered around for about an hour before heading home.

After we got home, we headed to the lake! I'd planned to post lake pics tonight, but it's my bedtime. So, I'll post those pics tomorrow! Goodnight!
